Chariho Boys' Tennis Team

Head Coach Ryan Rafanelli

 

This season marks Coach Rafanelli's first year as head coach for the Chariho Boys' Tennis team.  Last year he was the assistant head coach for the Division 1 State Champions Smithfield High School.  Coach Rafanelli is a tennis instructor at Tennis RI West Bay and at Warwick Country Club.  He graduated from Rhode Island College for Secondary Education for Social Studies last May and is a Long-term substitute teacher at Chariho Regional High School for Social Studies.  He played singles and doubles for Toll Gate High School and spent his college career coaching and instructing children and adults tennis.  Coach Rafanelli is excited and very enthusiastic about coaching the Chariho Boy's Tennis team this season.   

 

 

 

Assistant Coach Kate Bucci

This season marks Coach Bucci's first year as assistant coach for the Chariho Boys' Tennis team.  Coach Bucci is a recent college graduate from Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont where she majored in Physical Education (k-12).  She played tennis at Castleton for the Women's tennis team and played singles for the South Kingstown Girls' Tennis team in high school.  She is a substitute teacher for Chariho Regional Public Schools, South Kingstown Public Schools, and Narragansett Public Schools.  She is also an assistant manager at Olympia Sports in Wakefield, RI.  She is very excited and eager about coaching the Chariho Boys' Tennis team this season.
